Belle with a little Old School Madonna thrown in for fun

Carol got Addy this Belle costume for her birthday...she loves the Beauty and the Beast movie...the dress is way too big for her, so she doesn't wear it much yet...but she loves dancing around like a princess, so after bath time the other night, we were rocking out and she was looking completely ridiculous with some frilly hair thing, her binky and the lacy, ruffly number she was in. If you look close enough, you can see that she has stickers on her ninnies...lovely ;o)

And just because I can't get through taking pictures without Chase jumping in front of the camera to be goofy...one of him being the little monster he is.

Supermarket Sweep

Bruce beat me home the other day so he grabbed the kids and went on a big adventure to Harris Teeter to get supplies to make some pizza! I met up with them on the way home and the 3 of them were having a blast cruising the aisles. Addy was especially pleased with the situation because her daddy let her help push the little-person cart with Chase...I make her sit in the cart! :o) Chase was proud to get to get to play big brother and help her along

Chase with a classic Chase-face...and I'm not sure what Addy was doing...

Family Shot...everyone wearing chef aprons...even Bruce was a trooper...we had such a good time, and our pizzas turned out great! Chase was being annoying and blinking on purpose through all of these pictures...Addy was being goofy too
Bruce got a gold star for the adventure out and idea to make pizza...we've never done that at home and the kids loved it! :o)

The Kids Scored, Big Time!

When my sister and I were younger, my Dad built us an awesome play-set in our backyard...not the kind that you can go out and buy, but a HUGE, 4x4 built monstrosity, with swings, monkey bars, a slide and a sandbox...we loved it.

When the kids go up to Grammy and Grampy's, they fight over who gets to swing, in the one swing that was hanging from an old tree in the back yard...this tree used to be enormous, shading a good portion of the back yard...a few storms have had their way with the tree, and it has lost sections at a time...leaving only the branch that the swing was hanging from...I think that is crazy.

SO! Mom and Dad built the kids a swing-set...Dad says the other parts will be added on as he can get to them...but the swings are awesome, and the kids couldn't be happier...my Mom was so excited about it being done, that she had us bring the kids up Thursday night to check them out.

Here are a bunch of pictures of the ceremonious hanging of the swings, and the first swing :o)

Here's Chase and Grampy, working VERY hard...there was dirt flying everywhere, I had to keep ducking!
Bruce getting in on the assistant action :o)
Addy and her Grammy...if Grammy is around, everyone else is chopped chicken liver!
Grammy and Grampy with the finished product!
Tah dah! (I don't think my mom knew I was taking this picture...haha)

Thanks Mom and Dad!
