HELP! Any fun Beach games/trivia???

Ok, I need help...we are getting ready to head down to Myrtle for 2 weeks...and I was hoping to get a few good ideas for beach games/trivia or whatever for us to sit around in our big circle, with a drink in hand, and BS the beautiful beach hours away with.

I'm figuring I'll be spending my mornings with a bathing suit full of sand, digging sand castles with the kiddos, so I'm looking for a bit of a mental adult break time for during nap time :o)

Also, I've been busy downloading tons of music or "tunes" as the kids would call them, to jam to while down there. What are your favorites??? I've loaded up on Kenny Chesney, of course.

This one goes in the Super-Mom Files

We were so very proud of Chase putting out the vibe at the 4th of July party...he wanted to hang out with the "big kids" in the garage playing beer pong. I have to post this video of Chase...it looks like we are going to have our hands full with this one...he's a natural!

You don't see him make the shot, but he did! I had Addy on my hip and the party was in full swing, so you know how that goes...still pretty funny!

Pool par-tay!

Yesterday was the neighborhood's annual pool party...we have missed the last few and were glad we took the kids over for this one! They had a DJ, tons of food and there were kids everywhere!

Here are a few pictures of the kids taking a break from the swimming and dancing

PS: I love Addy's bathing suit...she's ridiculous

Miss Petunia in her "babin suit" the top kept rolling up to show off her little belly. She is teething hard-core right now so her hands are always in her mouth when she isn't eating. Poor thing.

"MOOOM! Quit taking pictures of me while I'm eating! Gah! Now I know how Nicole Ritchie feels! Give it a rest!"

"Ohh...he's cute. I wonder if that's his sister or girl friend? Hmm"
And here's my Chase-Monster after enjoying a cup cake...his eyes are all dark underneath because he was on day 2 of NO NAPS...and my last nerve :o) We tried water wings out for the first time yesterday...I think he needs a bit more time before he understands what to do with them. Our buddy the lifeguard thinks he's a bit young too. I think Chase just felt cool with them on.

4th of July

We had a fun day at the pool and then we headed over to Bruce's sister Erica's house for a cookout. We made that sangria recipe again and it was POTENT as ever.

Bruce's friend Mike brought a bunch of fireworks to set off once it got dark, and they had some of those snap/poppers that you are supposed to be able to throw down and they pop...well, Chase couldn't throw them hard enough, so we had to teach him a different way to do things...Bruce shows chase a really good way to get the job done.

Here are a few more pictures of the night...Addy had her first Rice Crispy Treat and fell in love...she savored the one you see for at least a half an hour, no joke. Casey kept messing with her saying she was going to eat it...and that's Aunt Nicole, her godmother.

Addy, her beloved rice crispy treat, and her godparents, Kevin and Nicole

Here's Chase, hanging out in the garage with the "big kids" who were playing beer pong...he's like, I'm not doing anything wrong, I swear!

Addy, just being Addy :o)

I did the unthinkable

OK, for this story, I feel the need to set the scene:

Bruce, watching OLD FOOTBALL games on the NFL network...you know, from last year?
Me, trying to get the kids dressed to go to the pool, the store, or something
General Chaos...for hours
Bruce, still watching the fricking football games...even with all of my nagging
Me, having just changed 2 poopy diapers
I tied the diapers up in a shopping bag to minimize the stinkiness
Bruce, STILL watching the TV, planted in his chair

(do you know where this is going?)

I get a wild hair up my butt, and think I know a way to get his attention...
I throw the poopy diaper filled bag across the room at him, trying to hit him
The bag somehow gets hung up on my thumb

and instead of throwing it across the room to get Bruce, I NAILED my unsuspecting mother in law in the back of the head with it.

She had no idea what was coming her way, or what had happened.

It was hilarious...thank goodness she knew it was an accident...I think I was laughing so hard I was in tears.

Plumbline Training's Blog...Up and Running!

Please check out Michael's new blog page if you have a chance:

I've been helping him out with it so stop by and show him some love!

PS: Wanna look like this 3 days a week? Don't be afraid...Chase took the picture, and I had just rolled in from getting my butt kicked in the very best way for the last hour (pardon all of the boob sweat!) Let me know, I could go on and on about how much our entire family loves Plumbline Training...give it a try, you won't regret it (Ok, you might not be able to move the next day, but that comes with the territory!)

Look out Tiger Woods

Bruce has a few days off before starting his new job on Monday (woo hoo! Way to go babe!)

Anyway, he's been taking advantage of it and getting out and doing stuff with the kids.

Yesterday I got this picture texted over to me...the guys were out hitting golf balls...Chase loved it!

They were off to buy Chase a club this AM and then they were going to head back over to "tee it up" some more.

Can you tell who dressed Chase before they left...he's like a little mini-Bruce here in his Red Sox hat and West Virginia t-shirt. :o)
